We imagined a « hitting » action with a provocative hashtag, in order to raise awareness and to drive people into mobilisation.Our action is mainly axed on the notion of time. Time flying by, time remaining. We inspired ourselves with still lifes who bring the viewer to wonder about his absence, his disappearance that we pictured in a contemporary interactive way. We faced the hashtag’s violence against an aesthetic and mastered image who reminds of installations in museums.We played with the baseline, to make the analogy between the image and futurist representation of the end of the humanity. Keeping in mind that the time is flying by, and that it can fly faster than we believe, and so that we have to move ourselves now.
For the scenography, we imagined the last objects possessed by mankind, in the first place modern ones like the iPhone and the watch, which are objects people are attached to, some daily ones, some necessary ones, nature’s wealth symbols (fruits) and some objects that foretell the worst and the before-end. Still in that aesthetic spirit, we wanted to picture paintings with a touch of pop color in a monochromatic composition. The black embodying death. A disturbing composition, a way to attract the eye and create an interrogation.
For the website we kept the signaletic side, but by animating it this time, so we could have a very dynamic display, a depiction of numbers going crazy. We also added the participation numbers in live, to enforce the community spirit.
With the application you have a « did you know » game about the environment, where the users could get their daily advice for the planet. The participation number is always displayed live on the application, as on the website. We thought about recurring push notification, to encourage users to share their daily action to save the planet.
To conclude, we pictured an event that would happen the day before the conference, where we would call for mobilisation in several international cities, where people would lift up their phones with the color game at the beginning of the application, to create a digital mosaic, a way to answer to the dark future announced on the print. A manner to celebrate life under all its shapes, full of colors, and to bring a message to politicians: that they have to move their ass to keep this straight.
