Cirque du Soleil is, first and foremost, a purveyor of live entertainment. However, its work extends beyond the stage, to special events, sponsorship, merchandizing and hospitality. With the goal to build relationships with specialists + suppliers outside Cirque, each partnership must be underpinned by a shared respect for the creative process; yet Cirque leads in creative content expertise and partner in the production. Black Swan E&J Gallo Winery has been a proud sponsor for many years, supporting Cirque hospitality activities in North America. The environment had to collapse every 5-8 weeks and ensure minimal space was taken on the cargo truck. It also resisted the wear and tear by special coating.
