I started designing this years ago after having a lot of trouble trying to get small text in our games to an acceptable, readable standard on CRT monitors and TVs. This project had always been on the back burner and after a year had gone by flat panel plasma and LCD displays had become common place and it seemed the world no longer had a need for DanSans.

 

I had actually forgotten about this typeface completely until I stumbled across it again, doing my end-of-year hard drive spring clean. I think it still holds up, even now.
