FIGUERES Y CADAQUES -2014-
Vine a esta parte del noreste de España con un único propósito: conocer la tierra de Dalí. Sólo eso me impulsaba: ver el famoso museo y llegar a su mítica casa al borde del mediterráneo. La aventura fue maravillosa. Entrar a su casa es algo fantástico y adorable. Encontré más de lo que esperaba. Encontré la paz de una ciudad chica como Figueras y la locura del viento que asota Cadaqués -dicen que están locos allí por el viento-, también la belleza de un mar que nunca me hubiera esperado. Aprendí bastante de Salvador Dalí y me sentí un poco más cerca de él, de su genio, de su vida algo trágica, de sus locuras, y de la fuerza inquebrantable de su espíritu.
I came to this part of the north-east of Spain with just one objective in mind: get to know Dalí´s land. That was my only concern: to know the famous museum and go to his mythical house by the Mediterrenean sea. The adventure was wonderful. To enter Dalí´s house is fantastic and adorable. I found more than I expected. I found the peaceful atmosphere of a small city like Figueres and the madness of the wind striking Cadaqués - they say people are crazy over there because of the wind -, also the beauty of a sea I had never expected to meet. I learnt a lot of Salvador Dalí and I felt a bit closer to him, to his genius, his somewhat tragic life, his follies and to the adamant strengh of his spirit.
