In celebration of Eastern’s 125th anniversary, students designed five billboards, each commemorating a chapter in Eastern’s history.

The billboard designs used yearbook photos from Eastern’s archives against architectural  backgrounds, to tell the story of the university’s transformation and growth through the years.

The billboard space was generously donated by

Standish Johnson Outdoor Advertising, a company who has been consistently supportive of Eastern students and their artwork.

 

* The Eastern Design Group is a pre-professional Capstone experience for Digital Art & Design students. In this course, students work for real clients on a wide range of projects including  logos, brochures, posters, street banners, maps and billboards promoting local events and civic agendas.
