Project Brief: Placed not that far away from the sea, the farm house was built as a place of relaxation. The aim was to design a space that goes with the serenity of the environment. The main constraints were the existing wall textures and floor finishes.
Situated in a coastal region, an open space that is minimal in furnishing was created to accustom with the heat and humidity of the place.
The formal living room is an open space with sleek and simple furniture that are designed with wood and plain textures which easily blends with nature.
To avoid direct sunlight, a false wall was created and in order to break the monotony, wallpaper was used to give texture to the wall which ultimately led to space that balances both function and style.
