AW 2011/2012 lookbook
Inspiration for this collection came from Piet Mondrian artistic creations. His "Compostitions" impressed me so much, that I transfered geometric styles to the autumn-winter collection. I was fascinated by black, white and yellow, red composition, where Piet Mondrian separated bold white, yellow, red spaces by straight black lines.
In the collection it is visible in the contrast black stipes in coats, dresses, blouses, somewhere this idea realised in lacing. I found it very interesting experimenting with such decorative geometry in costume, find places to put the right contrast, the right amount of it. Also I wanted that collection to be ready-to-wear, to be easily combined together. However there are several pices for special occasions.
