Design a poster, program, billboard, and 15 second animation for Christian Howes and Southern Exposure show at the Folly Theater. The design was to visually communicate the music on multiple platforms. I overlapped bright samba influenced colors to provide the vibe of Southern Exposure. I wanted my poster to feel very contemporary and fresh because this is Christian Howe's latest album just released in 2013. Because this particular album was such an innovative collaboration, I created this hybrid transformer figure made up of instruments that represent the members of the group. The idea is that they all come together to create this new zeal jazz that hasn't happened before. My goal was to create a design that reflects that sound in a visual way.
