Drive USA is an iOS free to play infinite driving game. I touched all aspects of the UI within a team of three working with a character artist, lead artist and art director. My responsibilites mainly involved implementation in Unity using NGUI. This involved a mixture of working completely in 2D and also in 3D space having to line up 3D elements and overlaid 2D parts.
I created the sign in the home screen in 3DS Max and generated the overlays in photoshop, illustrator and Unity. I worked closely with the programming team to figure out the best methods of implementation on the art side. I used animations and tween tools extensively which can be best seen in the HUD when light leaking messages are displayed during gameplay. I also created created some icons for the HUD and gifting sections of the game.
