Here's an example of an updated SPAM magazine ad which is intended for placement in WIRED magazine. The ad imagines that Mars is actually made out of spam and that exploring different flavors of spam is similar to exploring Mars. Credit to the SPAM website for the can images.
This one allows the brand colors to be more prominent, but it shifts towards a younger audience.
