This project started as an assignment from my Graphic Design class ARTD301. The objective was to design a publication. It turned into a volunteer job for my good friends at the Whitetail River Lodge Bed and Breakfast.
I chose a welcoming accordion fold and an infographic calendar insert. After doing some research on hotel and bed and breakfast brochures I noticed it is common to show pictures of guests and chose not to add a photo of the location but of people enjoying their stay. Also, for this project I spent alot of time on grids.
What makes this brochure special:
- unconventional accordion fold invites you to open and read more
- infographics (rooms and rates, calendar of events)
- insert that includes infographic and interactive map
Dimensions- brochure is 6 inches by 24 inches open and 6 by 8 when folded
insert is 6 by 8 inches
