Celebrating forty years of the Stephen Barry Band, Montreal, Qc.
This artwork was created over a semester in hommage to the band. The smallest plates are 3x3", depicting music composition from the first phrase to completion. Instruments are represented in the same scale. Plates are gradually created and printed in increasing size as musical motifs are arranged, through to rehersals, recordings, and a large plate 20.5 x 24" represents the live show at Sala Rosa in Montreal. Two oversize prints were also made, one later cut into strips as accordion cards for the band members, along with prints of Blues @ 40.
