L’Istituto Comprensivo A. Manzoni, durante l’anno scolastico, ha affiancato alle normali lezioni dei laboratori di osservazione mirati a far acquisire agli alunni una maggiore responsabilità e consapevolezza civile.

I principali temi trattati sono stati cittadinanza attiva, legalità e integrazione raziale. Gli alunni hanno argomentato questi ultimi grazie all’ausilio di vari elaborati grafici che la scuola ha poi deciso di esporre in un’aula da convertire in sala mostre e conferenze, in modo da lasciare un segno tangibile per il futuro.

Il nostro obiettivo dunque, è stato di realizzare un luogo adatto all’esposizione degli elaborati sopra citati che allo stesso tempo potesse rapidamente essere ri-allestito per ospitare nuove mostre o eventi simili.

Per poterli visionare facilmente,

data la loro deperibilità nel tempo, si è deciso di utilizzare dei supporti digitali quali schermi collegati ad iPad che ne facilitassero la visualizzazione; inoltre, sulla parete di fondo, sono stati pensati dei profilati metallici che, abbinati a delle calamite capaci di reggere sino a 30 Kg, consentissero di esibire ulteriori elaborati anche di grande formato o su supporto rigido.

Infine, le pareti retrostanti gli schermi sono pensate in grigio scuro per evitare fenomeni di abbagliamento, dovuti alle finestre presenti sulla parete opposta.

The Comprehensive School A. Manzoni has added to regular classes laboratories of observation aimed at making students acquire a broader awareness of their civil responsibility.

The main topics were active citizenship, legality and racial integration. The students discussed these themes with the aid of several drawings which the school decided to display in a permanent exposition, located in an old classroom converted into an exhibition and conference hall, in order to leave a tangible sign of the laboratories in the future.

Our goal, therefore, was to create a place suitable for the display of the works mentioned above and at the same time easily re-arrangeable, so that it could host new expos or events.

To display easily these drawings, given the perishability of paper, we decided to display the drawings on digital media, namely screens connected to iPads, which would facilitate the fruition; furthermore, on the background wall, we have used some metal profiles which, combined with magnets capable of holding up to 30 Kg, enabling the display of more drawings included large format drawings or with rigid support.

In conclusion, the walls behind the screens are painted in dark gray to prevent the glass glare caused by the presence of windows on the opposite wall.
