"Revival" Master Project NCCA
After a very long time charging in a dark room, a human robot finally wake up and walk toward outside. When he reaches the edge of the building he found a destroyed city. The project is aiming to create a destroyed photo-realism future world. Match moving , digital matte painting, camera projection and light matching are the main techniques will be mainly generated.
This is Master project that we do at NCCA MA Digital Effects Bournemouth University. This project is made by Hongfei Geng and Panas Chanpum. Footage was shot by Canon 60D, Canan 5D Mark II and Panasonic AG-AF 101 with various focal length. along side with HDRI images for light matching.
In this project Houdini 12.5 is being used as primary 3D software tools for all CG Element. All CG element is rendered by using Houdini PBR Mantra. Pftrack is used to match moving the shot and composite was done in the Foundry Nuke 7. Nuke is used for clean up, CG integration with footage and grading of all elements. All texture is made by Photoshop and Mari.
Hongfei Geng is taking control all cleanup and composite almost every shot. All shot match moving was done by Hongfei, she animated all cg element and also do model and effect for unplugged shot. All color grading and editing work done by Hongfei.
Panas Chanpum(me) take responsible for mask and skin model sculpt and all shot texturing shading and lighting also I responsible for matte painting and composite for final shot.
