The Paintover: Portraits

It simply came up my mind to give

some of my Photos a dramatic paintover. After shooting the two at the very bottom.. One with a Nikon Cam and the second one with my Lumia I felt that there could be some great vibes of dirty energy behind them. Although the three Pictures come from three different sources, they still kind of match in their potential of spreadin’ a dark atmosphere. I saw a chance of creating my first little Portrait-Series.

So I came up with the idea that the theme of this personal Artwork could be about the darkside of one, about the decission people have to make as specially in the past decade about showin' an fake image or their "real" identity to the world and the struggle of breaking free out of a daily depression. As usual I played around with the Layers in Photoshop by givin’ some Color Adjustments, addin’ new geometrical shapes I tried to keep it clean but detailed, concentrating on black, white and red and also givin’ some highlights with a light baby-blue. I think this is all about the attitude!
