Platter 2: The chip n platter used for dry snacks such as chips, sandwiches, kebabs etc., accompanied with a dip/sauce.
The idea of a chip n dip platter is to entertain guests and keep them occupied with light and dry food that can be placed in front of them. In present context, users like to prepare fancy meals beginning with appetizers that have to be accompanied with a dip.
Developing a form for chip n dip platter in Bonechina as a material, hence using the rich quality of the whiteness of the clay. Here being inspired from the betel leaf, a form was developed.
Inspiration for form: The betel leaf which is known as the paan leaf in Hindi
Exploring in form in material keeping in mind the space for dry food item and the dip
With the final form, a model was developed for production
