This year Patek Philippe celebrates the 175th anniversary of its founding, when Polish cavalry officer-turned-watch entrepreneur Antoine Norbert de Patek sought out the expertise of French watchmaker Jean Adrien Philippe, who had just developed the keyless works necessary for winding and adjusting watches without a key.

 

With the imminent launch of a special timeline at patek.com to showcase their history – the longest uninterrupted history of any watch brand, I have been asked to design and illustrate a timeline that will be featured on their Magazine, exclusively distributed to their very own clients worlwide. 

 

The timeline is designed to represent the fascinating stories from their past and present, with a sense of lecture inspired of their complex watch movement.
