Opening titles for norwegian, action-packed movie "Børning". This already very successful
and critically acclaimed picture presents Scandinavian approach to car racing. 20+, pimped and tuned cars, racing 2500km from Oslo to Nordkapp. The only rule: "No rules".
Oslo based Stir invited us take part in this pure awesomeness. We jumped in right away.
The main concept on this title sequence was to present the hero car: 1967 Ford Mustang.
We took very high speed phantom footage and mixed it with CGI close-ups of vehicle.
The result turned out to be elegant and exciting at the same time.
Once more maxwell renderer stood up to the task and made it virtually impossible to distinguish real footage from CG.
Typography is our tribute to classic road movies from 70's. Font used: RBNo2.1
