"Mimesis" is the first of three personal digital paintings I wish to complete.
The focus in this painting is the subject, a woman without a visible face. She is a stand-in for periods of my mind and life. There are storms and diseases. There are fears and hopes. And, then, there is theatre. Moments when you force a smile, play a part, and fight those storms and fears in your mind and in the world.

Stylistically, I tried to remain true to my realistic upbringing. But in the end, ventured with the abstract.
