The Pocono’s Nursery Sleep Away Camp, for the visually impaired, is designed based on physical shapes of the stands seen at a farmers market and the fresh and vibrant colors that are associated with a farmers market; orange, blue and green.
At this camp, children learn the importance of health, balanced meal cooking and planning, planting on site and learning about supporting local farms and the performing arts. This is all happening while being incased in their own "mini farmers market" with a child friendly teaching kitchen. Each area is different and unique depending on the function of the space, similar to how each stand or cart at a farmers market is unique to the farm the product came from and or the owner of the stand.

The hierarchy of stands that are within a farmers market, the actual layout of a market in aerial view, and the valuables sold at each stand are three factors that were formed conceptually throughout the space.
