Over the last few years various corporate collateral had been produced using an assortment of suppliers which had resulted in a lack of cohesion across the company branding.

 

Scitech asked Chase to refresh the branding and create a suite of corporate literature that would cohesively strengthen the new branding.

APPROACH
The current logo comprised the company name and a target symbol (commonly used to illustrate precision), however it failed to communicate the specialised nature of Scitech’s main business – the design and manufacture of bespoke micro-targets for use in high energy photon science experiments.

 

The existing brand has been in place for a number of years – a long time in an industry which is constantly advancing and as a result looked quite dated.

 

We felt that the current brand failed to sufficiently portray the size, strength and reach of the company' skills, experience and expertise.

 

We carefully studied all the existing collateral and decided to take a fresh approach to the new branding which would portray the impact and effect of the laser hitting a target and the resulting release of photons, ions and electrons.

 

We recognise that even though the targets are tiny, the science that they enable is huge.

 

We refined, modernised and progressed the brand, so that it now delivers an emotive visual representation of Scitech’s main area of business.
