2014 | MechaMatch - Soccer Robots

MechaMatch was our 3rd Year Engineering Project at Massey University, Auckland. We were called AIS Robotics and acted as consultants to a fictional international company called Products with Purpose (PWP).

The Aim:
To develop an educational robot game based off soccer

The Outcome:
 MechaMatch, a multi-player robot soccer (football) game aimed at at the youth electronics market. The robots can play in teams of up to 3 v 3 with User controllers or be set in Autonomous (AI) mode, where it will be able to move, pass and shoot with the assistance of an overhead visual system. The robots have built-in autonomous features and all the augmented features to support its projected commercialisation assumed by the brief.
