Facemap is an interactive application questioning the notion of territory. Facemap offers an interactive and explorable map of the user. From a picture taken by the webcam, facemap decomposes the user image in areas, determined by the light level. These areas are materialized by outlines then projected in a 3D space.
The user may then explore this map in is image using the mouse. It is surprising to observe how much this territory is familiar, yet unknown.
