Logo Design for the band Rival Empires
I was asked my Johno Madgwick to create a logo for the band Rival Empires which would be used on social media websites and for promotional material.
Based on the bands name I wanted to create a parody fo the Elizabeth Royal ensignia for a potential 'Rival Empire'. Based on research and personal experience I wanted the logo to be bold, using a simple colour scheme. This would allow the logo to be instantly recognisable and work well in many different formats.
I also decided to add a worn/weathered texture to the logo to give it edge and to fit in with the Rock music world feel.
