My Personal Branding Project
Here is a look at my personal branding for the freelance Graphic Design & Illustration work I do in my spare time. I decided I wanted a logo using my initials which represented my love of rock and metal music, exhibited my skill in creating clean, bold and eye-catching designs and used a Pantone colour to ensure consistency of colour across the whole brand.
I wanted the letters 'C' and 'B' to use as much of the same angles, curves and details as possible to ensure consistency in the branding. The hexagon and lightning bolt were added to reinforce the angles used in the lettering and rock/metal (Gothic) styling.
Avenir Next was chosen for its clarity and versatility in both headings and body text.
I wanted a bold, almost fluorescent Pantone colour, which could also be converted to a web safe colour without too much change, again to ensure brand consistency.
