PICTURES NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PICTURES

Pictures Not Supposed To Be Pictures
During the fall 2012 my old digital camera threw in the towel. At the same time I bought my very first smartphone, hence having and using my first touch screen camera device.

While walking around with the camera ready, eager to capture everything, my phone (with help from my fingertips) started to take pictures of its own. My first instinct was to delete the photos, but then I discovered that it was something poetic about giving them a chance of life.

These photos-by-mistake have become an alternative documentation of my first couple of weeks in Hong Kong. Even with their somewhat abstract compositions, they tell a story and remind me of where I was and what I did at the moment they where shot.
