This project explored infinite, lateral patterns as a theme in architecture. I designed a pattern using a systemic division of space, and then applied the pattern to develop the rooms for a school building.
The process started with iterating dozens of arrangements, layering patterns on top of each other to create thicknesses and using a series of rules to divide space.
Spatial volumes were assigned a specific function: small spaces as classrooms, medium spaces as activity rooms or pathways, and large spaces as auditorium and aseembly functions.
