Center 19: Curtains represents a collection of essays, proposals and installations that explore the use of fabrics in contemporary art and architecture. Curated by the Center of American Architecture & Design at The University of Texas at Austin, the book design systematically explores the idea of the grid, space and color that develop as themes throughout the book—notions of activating indoor and outdoor space, layering and diffusing light, and filtering views.
