Este trabalho foi feito para a banda O Alibi.
Eu criei o conceito do que viria a ser uma arte de fotografia e ilustração e trabalhei junto com o fotógrafo Ale Coelho. O processo foi assim:
Primeiro, conversei com cada membro da banda, individualmente e, a partir dessa conversa, levantei as principais características deles. Depois disso, o fotógrafo e eu fizemos um brainstorm com minhas anotações para transformar minhas percepções na cena.
No dia da sessão de fotos, dirigi os membros da banda individualmente, de modo que o resultado final ficasse como tínhamos imaginado.
Depois selecionamos as fotos e criamos. Eu criei na mente, e o Alexandre executou o que eu pensei.
O resultado é o trabalho incrível que mostro a seguir.
Primeira foto - Nesta primeira imagem o personagem é Marcus Nery, vocalista da banda.
O mais impressionante da conversa que tivemos foi que ele é um cara que precisa se sentir livre para expandir, e sua história confirma isso. Então é isso que nós tentamos retratar nesta foto.
A segunda foto - Nesta segunda imagem o personagem é Rafael Lira, vocalista da banda.
O ponto forte da conversa que tivemos foi perceber que ele é um cara tranquilo, que desfruta do silêncio e busca a auto conhecimento. Ele nasceu sob o signo de Escorpião, que tem como um elemento da água, por isso quis adicionar esses elementos.
A terceira foto - Este é Bruce, baixista da banda. Ele é um cara que passou por muitas mudanças no ano anterior a essa conversa e decidiu mudar sua vida completamente, livrando-se do que o fazia mal, como restrições sociais. Fez isso com determinação e coragem, em prol de sua liberdade pessoal e felicidade.
Quarta foto - Ronaldo, o guitarrista da banda, é um cara que gosta de coisas materiais, tem bom gosto e dá valor à família. Seus pés em forma de raízes representam apego à sua família e as coisas deste mundo. Sem a menor pretensão, ele tem magnetismo e atrai boas oportunidades para si mesmo.
Quinta foto - Raphael é o baterista. Um cara quieto e observador que vê o mundo de uma forma quase lúdica. Sempre sorrindo, ele nos dá a sensação de que acabou de chegar no planeta, com os olhos brilhantes de uma criança. No entanto, ele sabe o que quer e tem um imenso talento musical herdada de sua família de músicos.
This work was done for the band The Alibi. I created the concept of what would become an art of photography and illustration and worked together with the photographer Ale Coelho. process, from beginning to end was as follows:
- I talked to each band member individually, and from that conversation, I raised the main features of them
- After that, the photographer and I did a brainstorm with my notes to transform my perceptions in the visual scene concept.
- On the photoshooting day I directed the band individually, so that the final result stayed as we had imagined, Ale photographed.
- After the photo was selected, we reached the editing stage, done with the usual quality of Ale Coelho's work .
The result are the babies below.
First photo - In this first picture the character is Marcus Nery, vocalist of the band. The most striking of the conversation we had was that he is a guy who needs to feel free to expand, and his story confirms this. So that's what we tried to portray in this picture.
Second photo - In this second picture the character is Rafael Lira, vocalist of the band. The most striking of the conversation we had was that he is a quiet guy, who enjoys the silence and seeks self knowledge. He was born under the sign of Scorpio, which has as an element the water, so he floats on it.
Third photo - This is Bruce, bass player of the band. The most striking of the conversation we had was that he is a guy who has gone through many changes in the last year, and chose to get rid of what made him feel bad, like social constraints, with great courage, for the sake of his personal freedom and happiness.
Fourth photo - Ronaldo, the band's guitarist, is a guy who enjoys material things, have good taste and gives value to the family. His feet shaped like roots represent attachment to his family and the things of this world. Without the slightest pretense, he has magnetism and attracts good opportunities for himself.
Fifth photo - Raphael is the drummer. A quiet and observer guy who sees the world in an almost playful way. Always smiling, he gives us the feeling that he has just arrived on the planet, with the shining eyes of a child. Nevertheless, he knows what he wants and has an immense musical talent inherited from his family of musicians.
