Initially, the watercolour background was created as I needed a background of such style for a design assignment used in Mermaid. The backgrounds were scanned into my computer and then converted to graphics.

After that project, these watercolour paper were left empty. Having learnt the die-cut (cut out) technique in my packaging class, I decided to try to execute this technique to these papers. It turned out really beautiful and I use them as wall decorations in my home work space.
