Photographic / Editorial project
This is my personal MA project. I started to search patterns in my city (Oporto) and then i discovered that pattern tiles are all around in different forms and that i wanted to studied them. This was a global project that i am passionate about because it took me all of my time. With this project i could explore myself in different ways like editorial design, photography and writting. Is a project that shows intuitive courses and where every pattern tile was cataloged. At the end of that enourmous research appears the book "Quem Bem Olhar" whose name was taken from an old Portuguese proverb, portraying the whole Portuguese culture. In this photographic book you can see the Oporto tiles cataloged in 5 poetic categories: geometry, asymmetry, volume, detail and metamorphosis.
