<DRENE> is an alteration shop where a pile of torn hearts waiting to be sewed up. This is a story of three friends: Dre, Nill, Numu. They are main characters of <DRENE>.
We all get a meltdown too easily, which often leave a void in our life.
I imagined how cool it would be for somebody to stitch up our broken heart while we are asleep.
There are Dre, Nill and Numu. ‘Dre’ has carried out her sewing task for people’s torn-out heart for a long time. She travels people’s dream to fix up their broken heart.
‘Nill’ is a button-larva. He is made from abandoned buttons. he keeps thinking about the fact that he is abandoned although he is still waiting for his owner.
‘Numu’ is a needle-hedgehog. He is a sewer living in a needle box. ‘Numu’ means "beyond" in Korean. He is wandering the world beyond where he lives.
This story has two themes.
- Part 1: The story about three friends Dre, Nill and Numu.
- Part 2: The strange alteration shop (repair shop) and the story of visitors.
I made two kinds of version: a paper book and an interactive e-book. I hope everybody who meets <DRENE>is happy and heart-warmed.
