The Expanding Cube Theory breaks a larger cube down into smaller individual elements, allowing each 'cube' to become a private space. Each element or 'cube' has its own characteristic or moving part, this allows the designer to create their own version of a pre-determined building shape. By giving movement to each cube the facade of the building continuously changes depending upon its inhabitants actions.
