RESTROOM SNAPSHOTS AND DISCO SKULLS

This is a project that startet on a night out when a friend (Pierre Schulze) of mine and I suddenly started taking pictures of random strangers in a clubs restroom. This turned out to be a great conversation starter on the one hand and great fun on the other.
So we did it again the following weekend and the weekends afterwards.
After a couple of weeks we decided to do disco-themed fotoseries. With both still Lives and people shots.
And we invented a little disco-universe dominated by the evil Discolon and spent many drunken nights thinking about this nightlife-world and its dwellers. Originally we wanted to make a little lookbook where our restroom snapshots would be contrasting our studio shots in order to illustrate the superficial beauty of the night as well as its totally hung-over and uncontrolled ugly side.
It was also a perfect justification for me to buy loads of skull replicas, disco-glasses, headphones, endless rivets and little mirrors, golden spray cans and start building some really classy discoworld equipment :) Since my friend and I now live in different cities the project is currently frozen.
But i still have a couple of unretouched shots that I want to finish some day...
We also wanted  villain for our story so we cam up with Discolon the ruler of all headaches.
This is our first people shot.

Those  were some of our first restroom shots:
