Bibliotheca Alexandrina
Directed by Anke Limprecht, the documentary (17 min) highlights the ancient library of Alexandria (built in 295 BCE*) as the most famous and largest place of scientific research among all ancient libraries; the circumstances of its destruction; and the rebirth of the Library of Alexandria with the support of the Egyptian government and UNESCO, in 2002.
