Pakshipattu (The Bird's Song)

Inspired from the Mappila-Arabi Malayalam folk song ‘Pakshipattu’, these 7 pages were part of my project in college. The story of Ali fighting for the prophet. Short summary of the story: A bird who had lived with her husband for 40 years is under her husband (named Akbar Sadaka)’s suspicion for lying two eggs on a day and is thrown out of the nest. The bird pleads to prophet Muhammed to convince her husband that she is innocent. Prophet sends three people to Akbar Sadaka and the bird refuses to come saying that there is no justice or honourable prophet when a girl is suffering as a hostage of a Jinn and then Ali goes on to save the girl – and the bird accepts its mate back when the prophet says the second egg is a gift from God.
