John Geci is a glass artist located in Bakersville, NC and came to ODDS in need of a new logo and website after creating a new identity and website for his wife, ceramic artist, Courtney Martin. While often represented together at craft shows and other gallery events, they wanted their logos to compliment each other when shown side by side. Using a piece that best defines the John Geci Glass aesthetic—the double-walled “Eclipse” bowl, this identity design shows the simplicity of the form and the material used. The transparent nature of the glass and the caning patterns are used to highlight the smooth contours and shape of this double-walled form.
