The conceptual idea behind this Film Noir festival brochure was to use the genre’s iconic venetian blinds as a subtle visual organizer throughout the entire printed piece. Although red and black are very closely associated with film noir, I wanted to incorporate the very colorful individual movie posters and create a center spread that put them on display while also creating a clear divide between the main article spread and the listed movie times
