GC (short for Gold Coast) Sneakerheads is a facebook group which I help admin and do graphic design work for. The purpose of the group is to help establish a sneaker based community on the Gold Coast. In the group you can sell, buy, swap, showcase or just talk about shoe related topics in general. We encourage anyone in the group to make new friends or just to share their common interest amongst other members of the community.

This was just a simple logo design made for the Facebook group.
The sneakers in the design are the ‘Air Jordan 1 Chicago’s’. They were designed by Peter Moore and was first released in 1985. These were worn by the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan who played for the ‘Chicago Bulls’.
This shoe would change the shoe game in generations to come.
I take no ownership of the actual design of the sneakers. This is a very iconic shoe and there is a lot of history and memories behind this design which is why I encorporated them in the design process. Anyone who is into sneakers knows this shoe had a major influence on the shoe game and changed history for generations to come.
