These works were created without prompt or dictation as an outlet after work this past summer. I understand them as an intuitive reaction, exploring whatever I might have desired. Like many, I spend time every day with artistic media absorbing thoughts and visuals for inspiration. I think this as a sort of focused and personal reformation of aesthetics that influence me the most.
In retrospect, I find an urge to combine bold shapes, colors,and patterns, with photographic and drawn imagery under design principles I've been familiarized with. As this group grows, as is the case with any body of work, I hope to find more ideological connections to inform future studies.
