My entry for the 2012 Cheltenham Design awards. The brief was to create a piece of narrative that relates to the Amulets and Charms collection at the world famous Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford, UK.
There were many fascinating artefacts on display but the one that perhaps stood out more than the others in terms of its hidden, enigmatic presence: The Dried Sea Horse.
This artefact was thought to be worshipped as a God so I decided to create an image that could abstractly show the power many believed the artefact to possess.
