for Converse, Designed by McSweeney's - I made these images and several others for the 2010-2011 Converse Yearbook. This happened a while ago--as you can see I was still hitting the dot-grain pretty hard. It was my first working experience with McSweeney's. Since then, there have been few that I've enjoyed more. What's more, this job made me comfortable with drawing the athletic subject and likeness in a new way.
