I think peacocks are beautiful and I love the colour and I wanted to portray that in my piece :)
The peacock featured on the journal is hand crafted and detailed using polymer clay and mica powders. The bird was made with blue polymer clay and then painted with blue shimmery mica powders. The tail was made with blue and black polymer clay and again painted with different coloured mica powders. The base is black and had a rubber texture sheet pressed on it for the design on the background. Small rhinestones have also been added. The journal is an A6 (10.5cm x 14.8cm) spiral bound sketchbook with 50 sheets of plain white paper.
