In 2014, CGS put a new scanning system in place for their incorporation of data into their online system. This created the need to redesign established forms into high-functioning, scannable, interactive documents that would be easy to use. At the beginning of the redesign, pre-established forms were scanning below a 30% rate. After the redesign, forms scanned above 90%.
This was a project that I initiated involvement in, became and remained the lead/sole designer, and maintained oversight while the form transition took place. Each of the forms (as all of CGS's PDF documents) were also 508 compliant, and most are still in place today (updated slightly over time).
