Despite being highly ranked year over year in the US News & World Report as a top public institution, UNC has to battle with other top-tier universities for first-class students and professors. People look for leadership that is in touch — solving real problems, innovating and pioneering, and developing tomorrow’s leaders. And for Carolina, this comes naturally. But the message was getting lost in ordinary higher ed advertising — a montage of beauty campus shots and cheerful students. UNC-Chapel Hill had the opportunity to stand out by doing — and saying — something different.
