Illustrations made for Kodomo no Hi (Children's Day) and it is typical to hoist koinoboris so that the children of the house grow up strong and healthy. This year has also coincided with Mother's Day in the West.
The haiku こいのぼり風に舞い踊る子供の夢 is interpreted as children's dreams needing the wind (in this case parents) to help them wave and be strong.
The haiku "風の踊り鯉のぼりの春の歌" is a variant of the previous one and puts more emphasis on spring, a very important season in Japan since it means beginnings (like the school or fiscal year). In this case, the awakening of life in childhood.
