Proverbial Wisdom

The intended audience for this message is college students who are struggling with their sense of self and that they are not enough in different sections of their college life. “Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life” (Proverbs 4:23) is a reminder of how vulnerable we are to ourselves and others and that we should stay strong and find our purpose. In large transition periods like being on your own for the first time and truly taking your life into your own hands, it is important to remember your values and who you are. This verse warns against attacks but it is also a reminder that we are striving for something greater.
