My take on the cover of one of my favorite books: the stories of the protagonists intertwine via mutual acquaintances, never crossing paths with the protagonists from the previous story, yet being tied by some sort of bond.
The orange slices in the cover represent the people in the stories, different yet similar, tied by an "invisible string" that I depicted as the net where the oranges are usually sold in.
I combined the use of Illustrator and Photoshop to achieve these effects.
