Glow Rogue Point of Purchase Display

Glow Rogue Point of Purchase Display
Glow Rogue Nails is a nail polish brand targeted towards teens. The brand is bold and bright, with a focus on being your unique self. These point of purchase displays are meant to reflect that, and so I used a variety of shapes and lines that felt fun and a little rebellious. The color palette features black, white, and hot pink.
Process
Thumbnails and Roughs
I experimented with many creative ways to display the bottles of nail polish. Though it was only necessary to display a minimum of three products for this project, I experimented with displays that would allow for more product than that, and then paired down in my roughs.
Rough Mockups
I made mockups out of paper, which I then cut apart, measured, and transferred to Adobe Illustrator. Cardboard was to be used in the final design for certain parts of the display. On the right, cardboard will form the riser that would allow the polish bottles to sit at different levels. On the middle and left, cardboard will form the back panel and diagonal shelves. These will be covered with white card stock.
Templates and Graphics for Display #1
This design used white with large blocks of bright pink, to create a neon effect. The nail polish bottles are not packaged for this display.
Templates and Graphics for Display #2
With its blocks of black color an asymmetric lines, this display leans more into the rebellious side of this brand. The nail polishes sit inside packages, each with a window so the polish color is visible. The packages are displayed on the diagonal shelves of this display.
