General Concept: Tribute to Leonardo Favio

Thanks to Leonardo Favio's cinema, a national identity began to take shape in the film industry, with authorial characteristics and a revaluation of Argentine popular images and stories. This is part of the graphic design and art direction of the 37th edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival.

Graphic Elements: The Popular Gaze

Contemporary pop symbols are part of the imaginary of the identity we propose. Colors and plots speak of a perspective in which the popular is a social, political, and cultural positioning. The new and the old reimagined, a mix in which Favio and the Mar del Plata Festival coexist, resulting in a true celebration of cinema for everyone. This is reflected in the graphic design and art direction of the 37th edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival.

Concepto General: Homenaje a Leonardo Favio

Gracias al cine de Leonardo Favio, comenzó a delinearse una identidad nacional en la industria del cine, con características autorales y una revalorización de las imágenes e historias populares argentinas. Esto forma parte del diseño gráfico y la dirección de arte de la 37ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata.

Elementos Gráficos: La Mirada Popular

Los símbolos pop contemporáneos forman parte del imaginario de la identidad que proponemos. Los colores y las tramas hablan de una perspectiva en la que lo popular es un posicionamiento social, político y cultural. Lo nuevo y lo viejo reinterpretado, un híbrido en el que Favio y el Festival de Mar del Plata conviven, dando como resultado una verdadera celebración del cine para todos y todas.
